Food Creates Community, with Jordan Swim
Please join us for the second annual fundraiser for the ACU Locavore Club! In conjunction with our annual Just Food Fare at ACU, the ACU Locavores are partnering with Connecting Caring Communities to host a community-building dinner from locally-sourced foods, prepared by Chef Jordan Swim of Dallas.
Where? North Park Friendship House, 2701 Hickory, Abilene, TX
When? Friday, March 30, 6-8 pm.
Table sponsorships are available. If you'd like to purchase a table, please e-mail Jon Camp at jonathan.camp@acu.edu or call him at 325-232-5861. Table sponsorships make the experience possible for community members who might not be able to afford to participate. We want this to be community-building, and not exclusive.
ACU Locavore club members will serve the meal. Tips will be accepted and will contribute directly to the ACU Locavore club and CCC.
Tickets must be purchased by Friday, March 30, at 3 pm.
Also, don't miss the second annual Just Food Fair at ACU, featuring Jordan Swim. Live music, farmers market, inspiring message. Free to the public. ACU's Moody Coliseum, Thursday, 03/29. Farmers Market begins at 4:30. Jordan speaks at 5. Farmers Market resumes at 6.
